Toshiba Australia's Electronic Imaging Division (EID) is growing. We are expanding beyond our traditional Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) to provide our customers with innovative solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness in their business operations.

Our opportunity

Our North Ryde office has an opportunity for a Channel and Administration Controller to join the Administration team. Reporting to the Administration Team Leader, the primary focus of this position is to ensure that full and effective support is provided to EID and channel in regards to spare parts, finished goods and administration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform Head office Administrative duties as directed.
  • Monitor and respond to e-mail accounts in a timely manner.
  • Efficient and accurate processing of wholesale channel orders.
  • Offer phone support and customer service to the channel and channel managers – duties such as ETA's, POD, credits, warranties, stock availability and pricing etc.
  • Liaise with NDC and transport providers regarding short shipments, shipping errors, delays, picking errors, damages etc.
  • Monitor, release and escalate backorders daily including sourcing and distribution.
  • Maintain and monitor promotions and promotional websites such as TLC rewards during campaigns.
  • Enter warranty claims, credits, buybacks and rebates for spare parts and finished goods.
  • Ensure insurance claims are lodged within required timeframe together with all supporting documentation.
  • Raise non inventory purchase orders for gives, promotions, stationery and any other adhoc items as required.
  • Maintain and ensure PO's are fulfilled and payment arranged in a timely matter.
  • Enter managed service sales for both direct and wholesale business.
  • Processing of drop ship orders per sales order requirements.
  • Processing of Produce Support Agreement renewals.

Our requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to work effectively with customers and Toshiba team members across multiple departments and at various levels.  Therefore, sound interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation and a commitment to the Toshiba Values will ensure success.

Skills and experience required:

  • Administration experience, ideally gained within a sales, logistics and or supply chain function.
  • Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and exposure to organisational databases (ERP's e.g. Oracle)
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Sound computer skills and exposure to organisational databases (ERP's e.g. Oracle).
  • An understanding of stock control fundamentals.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
