Toshiba Australia's Electronic Imaging Division (EID) is growing. We're expanding beyond our traditional Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) to provide our customers with innovative solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness in their business operations.


Our opportunity

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Contact Centre Representative, or someone technically minded, to join the National Contact Centre (NCC) team located in Mount Waverley, South East Melbourne. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the primary focus of this position is to receive, log and provide technical assistance to customer requests mainly via phone, but also via email and the web. This position is also responsible to ensure customer support related tasks, administrative and supporting clerical duties are conducted in an efficient and diligent manner. This role is primarily handling incoming support requests, with some outbound calls to follow up existing Toshiba customers regarding their outstanding requests.


Key responsibilities:

  • Providing the highest level of customer satisfaction through a polite and efficient phone manner and following up queries
  • Answering customer calls promptly and responding to emails
  • Providing technical assistance to customers using Toshiba equipment
  • Ensuring each customer interaction with the NCC is an enjoyable experience
  • Confirming customer details are correct, and keeping data up to date in the service database
  • Adhering to the Contact Centre, and individual, KPI's
  • Completing nationally logged Dealer Calls and NCC logged Helpdesk calls
  • Ensuring that any outstanding orders are processed on a daily basis

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • Contact centre environment experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Experience of using Oracle
