Toshiba Australia's Electronic Imaging Division (EID) is growing. We are expanding beyond our traditional Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) to provide our customers with innovative solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness in their business operations.

Our opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Manager responsible for Sydney, Canberra and Newcastle to drive leadership and day-to-day operations. The primary purpose of this role is to actively promote and drive sales, at Regional level, including the divisional business direction as an “Integrated Business Partner”, rather than as a “Supplier” through Managed Services (Toshiba Managed Services) in conjunction with traditional sales methodology. Actively engage with Regions top accounts in both hardware, service, MPS and TMS whilst seeking 3rd party partnerships to grow revenue opportunity.  

Key responsibilities include:

  • Propose the Toshiba Managed Services portfolio to new and existing clients, individually and in partnership with territory account managers.
  • Achieve branch sales and gross contribution objectives.
  • Marketing and promotional activities.
  • Oversee and develop Regional / Branch employees.
  • Maintain Toshiba's marketplace reputation.
  • Management reporting.
  • Manage Branch related budgets including sales and marketing.
  • Manage Branch debtor accounts.
  • Work closely with Business Development & Bid Manager to develop Major Account, Managed Print Services and Government contract negotiations.

Our requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to work effectively with customers and Toshiba team members across multiple departments and at various levels.  Therefore, sound interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation and a commitment to the Toshiba Values will ensure success.

Skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading a large regional operation within the same or similar industry.  Experience within the managed solutions industry would be highly regarded.
  • Minimum 10 years experience managing in all aspects of business operations.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading a large team of direct and indirect team members.
  • Tertiary qualifications in either Business or Management ideal but not essential.
  • Current Drivers License.
