We are expanding beyond our traditional Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) to provide our customers with innovative solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness in their business operations.

About the role

We currently have an opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our team.  In this role you will be acting as the first line of management, directing the sales team to achieve predetermined sales targets from new and existing clients and ensuring complete customer satisfaction when dealing with the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales for assigned territory through account managers, against the divisional budget both Gross Sales and Gross Contribution.        
  • Maintain active and effective business relationships with existing customer base through sales.
  • Increase awareness of other business opportunities within existing customer base.
  • Maintain & develop marketing activities to promote EID products to prospective buyers.
  • Ensure accurate records of contacts with prospective clients are kept by sales team.
  • Ensure that sales team are properly trained and able to demonstrate new EID products.
  • Assess opportunities and convert to sales.
  • Provide sales forecasting based on sales trends.
  • Keep abreast of opposition activities within the marketplace.
  • Conduct effective performance reviews and coach and develop staff in accordance with their individual needs.

Our requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Current car driver's license.
  • 8+ years sales experience.
  • 2+ years sales team leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to effectively train sales staff.
  • Proven sales record in business equipment industry.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills.
  • Expert product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
  • An understanding of P&L and budgets.
  • Management, leadership, mentoring, business, accounting and reporting skills.
  • Analytical interpretation and advanced problem solving abilities.
