Our opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Pre-Sales Technical Specialist - Auto ID to join the to join the Auto ID Barcode Labelling team. Reporting to the National Channel Manager, this role is responsible for delivering training and supporting Toshiba's national sales team and product marketing teams in a Pre-Sales role for AUTO ID Barcode solutions. The Pre-Sales technical role will be primarily involved with technical support for tenders, general enquiries, sales calls and presentations requiring sales technical input. The training will involve delivering sales training to Toshiba's primary Direct and Channel Sales teams on a National level.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and deliver Sales Product Training
  • Provide technical support to Toshiba Marketing team including support
  • Provide Pre-Sales technical support for all Toshiba sales in conjunction with authorised Toshiba resellers and Direct branches
  • Provide technical support for requested information to assist sales in providing responses to tenders
  • Manage relationships with Toshiba internal stakeholders and key technology partners to provide complete solutions and showcase these to the marketplace


Our requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to work effectively with customers and Toshiba team members across multiple departments and at various levels. Therefore, sound interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation and a commitment to the Toshiba Values will ensure success.


Skills and experience required:

  • Experience in  pre-sales or technical support role
  • First line sales support expertise e.g. deployment technologies, Networking technologies, operating systems
  • Must hold a valid drivers license
