Toshiba Australia's Electronic Imaging Division (EID) is growing. We're expanding beyond our traditional Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) to provide our customers with innovative solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness in their business operations.

 

Our opportunity

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Technician to join our Geebung team. The primary purpose of this position is to resolve hardware and network connectivity issues, including completion of preventative maintenance, doing so professionally, efficiently and effectively.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing quality and timely preventative maintenance and repairs to our client base of MFD's
  • Installation of MFD's including setup of device drivers across multiple network environments
  • Providing and maintaining a high level of performance & productivity
  • Providing a high level of customer satisfaction directly to internal and external customers
  • Monitoring and managing stock levels of assigned inventory accurately
  • Adhere to company policy and procedures at all times in the completion of duties

 

Our requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to work effectively with customers and Toshiba team members across multiple departments and at various levels.  Therefore, sound interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation and a commitment to the Toshiba Values will ensure success.

 

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience in the installation & configuration of MFD's in various network environments
  • Demonstrated experience servicing MFDs
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical aptitude / troubleshooting skills & the ability to learn concepts quickly
  • Basic computer skills & experience using a field service system
  • A current & valid driver's licence
