Toshiba Australia's Electronic Imaging Division (EID) is growing. We're expanding beyond our traditional Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) to provide our customers with innovative solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness in their business operations.

 

Our opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced Account Manager in the Education Market to join the Sydney Electronic Imaging Division's Direct sales team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the primary focus of this self driven position is to meet the sales budgets for allocated accounts. You'll achieve this by selling EID's (Electronic Imaging Division) products and solutions via business development by leveraging the leads generated by Toshiba Marketing as well as performing your own prospecting activities and leveraging the relationships of existing accounts.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaise with vertical sales representatives e.g. MPS, Solutions to generate additional business process opportunities
  • Ensure individual monthly sales targets are met
  • Follow up on leads created by Toshiba Marketing with prospective clients
    • Maintain and grow current client base by keeping in regular contact with them via calls and visits
    • Meet activity KPIs and maintain accurate records in CRM then present to management when directed
    • Attend promotional activities

 

Our requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to work effectively with customers and Toshiba team members across multiple departments and at various levels.  Therefore, sound interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation and a commitment to the Toshiba Values will ensure success.

 

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous sales experience in the multi-function device & solutions industry ideal but not essential
  • Experience selling in the B2B commercial sector
  • Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as a minimum
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong client presentation delivery and demonstration skills
  • Professional personal presentation and grooming
  • Current drivers license is essential
