Toshiba Australia's Electronic Imaging Division (EID) is growing. We're expanding beyond our traditional Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) to provide our customers with innovative solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness in their business operations.

 

Our opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Service Scheduler to join our team at Geebung. Reporting to the Service Manager, the primary focus of this position is to receive incoming service calls from customers, process them and then dispatch them to the Service Technicians.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, scheduling and allocation of area service calls to meet response times and follow up of consumable orders as required
  • Liaison with Area Supervisor regarding management of area Service calls
  • Managing  Technicians' work queues efficiently to balance  resource availability and  travel requirements
  • Maintaining Area Customer Response Times as per branch's objectives
  • Responding to tech enquiries on parts
  • Process any parts orders from resellers
  • Processing any admin/clerical work related to spare parts
  • Providing a high level of customer satisfaction through polite and efficient phone manner and follow up, and going ‘the extra mile when needed.
  • Answering customer calls promptly and politely within set objectives
  • Responding customer queries politely, including directing them to the appropriate department as required.
  • Other work duties as directed by the Service Manager

 

Our requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to work effectively with customers and Toshiba team members across multiple departments and at various levels.  Therefore, sound interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation and a commitment to the Toshiba Values will ensure success.

 

Skills and experience required:

  • Excellent organisational and clerical skills
  • Accurate data entry / keyboarding skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  •  Strong verbal communication skills (including phone manner)
  • Basic IT/Network understanding would be advantageous
  • At least 2-3 years corporate administrative experience preferred
